Haha, and we return to Mrs. Peterson's advice yet again! (which was, for those who don't remember, marry somebody who can pay for you to stay at home and do art... very mercenary).
OOOOh, I am SOO bad! Hey snipes, guess who's going to be getting a degree from Law School in a few years! heheh... ;D

OMG she did say that, didn't she? *lol* ...You're not suggesting Kevin to me are you??? Cuz, I love the guy, but omg we would be at each other's throats every second of every day, cuz he doesn't agree with a lot of my political views, and I'm not mature enough to let shit like that go. XD

Yeah part of the reason I suggested was because it was so ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! I mean, he's looking for a girl who wants to raise a few dozen of his children... that and the whole uber-Catholic thing .

*lol* So not me... I'm looking for a guy who will let me stay at home and do nothing (including kids) but art and agree with me when I rant about gay rights.>_<

Snipes, now that I've watched about 50 episodes of Avatar, I'm just curious about where in the storyline you started writing Eternal Dance. I'm also curious as to exactly what episode caused the rant about Zuko being so bad. And not all of us uber-Cats are so bad, Sushi. I'm one too. ;P

Pipey, you're an Uber-Cat? Okay, on the Avatar. I started making Eternal Dance right before the episode "Zuko Alone" aired and for about 5 episodes after that. I freaked out at the end of season two cuz I was absolutely certain that was Zuko's most opportune moment to join the Aang gang. I'm STILL positive about that, because, even though he finally managed to do it, it was significantly less dramatic and interesting when he did. I don't care if what I wanted was the predictable route for season two. I wanted the Aang gang to have their token fire nation boy, and for the hilarious and awesome character interaction among them to have an entire season to flourish. *fume* We only have 8 episodes left for that stuff now! T_T Also, I'm a die hard *cringe* Zutara shipper, and 8 episodes isn't enough for it to happen! *cry* (though one must keep in mind how drastically things change in this show in the course of one episode *mutter, crappy pacing, mutter* which means Zutara could happen and probably be utter shit)

Yes, I am. Don't worry, though. I don't like picking fights, and I'm not out to convert the world. I kind of guessed that's about where it started. I agree with you entirely about the crappy pacing, though. I think that's why Zuko didn't join them when everyone expected it. The writers had worked themselves into too much of a corner with the solstice idea, so in order to get out of it, they had to make some big changes. Look how quickly she forgave Jet, though. That took what, one episode? Of course, with Aang and Zuko so chummy now, (I've seen up to the ep where Aang and Zuko meet the dragons) it may take longer. I really think Zutara's going to happen. Just given how the show's handled all the cliche's before, what else can they do?

*lol* Exactly! Some cliche's just gotta be done.^^ Though it's the manner of how the cliche's have been handled thus far that has me worried. I mean, if they do to Zutara what they did to Maiko? Ugh! I'll stick to fannon, thank you. Though we know that Zuko will be hunting down his mother soon (prolly with gAang in tow). If she's all, like, trying to match-make them, that would be the greatest thing ever. XD Yeah, that's absolutely what they've done. They had to have Zuko confront his father without it being the end of the series (cuz, what would Aang have to do then?) thus dragging him to the fire nation for 10 agonizing episodes. Oi. It could have happened sooner. Seriously, take out all the filler from season two and three, the confrontation could have been the season two finale. And what a jam-packed thriller of a show that would have been!

My real question is will there be a surprise twist when they finally find Zuko's mom. Like her being the maid of honor at the wedding for Katara and Sokka's parent's wedding, or something to that effect.

Um Snipes don't go into a rampage or anything, but I was just watching an Avatar slide show amv and they took some images from Eternal Dance and threw them into the mix. The video is on youtube.com and it's called Iris Zutara.

Whoa! That's kind of rude to do something like that without permission. Did they at least credit our wonderful MadSniper? *goes to look* They did. Huh. *reads comments* Whoa. People are real arses about their fan pairings. It seems the Kataangs are the worst, too.
Kataang is NEVER going to happen. She's like 16? And technically, even though he's 112, she still treats him like a younger brother. The thing that totally seals it for me, aside from all the cliche is the necklace. Even though it's not HER betrothal necklace, it's still A betrothal necklace. I can't believe it means NOTHING that Zuko found it and returned it.

Actually Katara is 14, Sokka is 15, Ang is Techincally 12 if you factor out the getting frozen in ice thing, Toph is 12, and that makes Zuko the oldest in the group being as he is 16.

Oh yeah, the Kataangs are really vicious sometimes. That's why I left the Avatar forum I used to frequent. There's at least three zutara slideshows out there that use my art. They always ask me first though, so it's okay. I'll only get pissed if they claim it's their own art.^^ *lol* A lot of Zutarian's are really curious how his mother will come into play if Zuko and Katara are meant to hook up, if she'll try to push them together or something. What I really want to know is how Hakoda will handle it.XD "My daughter... loves a firebender... and not just any firebender... the PRINCE!" ;D

6 words Snipes, "Over my dead body you are," come on the man has been fighting the fire nation almost his entire life I don't think he's going to welcome Zuko with the warmest of wishes.

You're absolutely right! And I wanna know just what Zuko will have to do to prove himself. XD Though, he still has plenty of people in the gAang itself he has to convince of that, with only 7 episodes to go, so that issue probably won't even come into play. (I still think he's going to have to get himself hurt protecting them to win Katara over )
