Oooh, a new main? You can definitely have some perspective fun with him/her! How's the new one going to see the rest of the group, hm?
Just don't spread yourself too thin. I've found that having too many true main characters is difficult to handle.

GOD yes. Especially considering that you have to keep their personalities varied, and know how each character feels about every other character, and how each character sounds when they talk so that you can differentiate them in a big discussion without using too much slang, etc.

I'm gonna have fun with this one, I made this one a girl in an attempt to even out the male to female ratio. I think you'll be rolling on the floor laugh because I'm making her a callous jerk who is incapable of picking up on sarcasm, the the basic format for her personality that I set up, she's a ninja. Ok, that's enough spoilers.

Hey! Not all us callous jerks who absolutely can't detect sarcasm are funny!
Seriously, though, I happen to be entirely incapable of detecting sarcasm. I honestly just don't recognize it. Like, on an epic level.

Where do think I got the sarcasm bit from, I too am incapable of detecting sarcasm I only can tell if someone is being sarcastic about 1.5% of the time, and that's if I'm lucky.

So she overreacts to every sarcastic comment? Man, she would be miserable if we were to cross your story with one of mine--I invariably have at least one very sarcastic character in every story, usually of at least supporting main status. XD
I grew up with two sarcastic parents. If I couldn't detect sarcasm, I would be totally dead. That being said, though, sometimes with my mom I can't tell whether she's being sarcastic or not. Sometimes, she'll say something that, by itself, could possibly be sarcastic, but in a very not sarcastic tone. It throws me every time.

The worst one I have is my boss. He's from India, and has a very heavy accent. I'm to the point where I just smile and nod no matter what he says because I barely understand him anyway, whether he's sarcastic or not.

No she's mostly callous, which means she doesn't care about anything or anyone's emotional state. She hardly shows any emotion as it is. She wouldn't know what overreacting was if it bit her after pinning several notes to her wardrobe saying "this has been a random act from the emotional response overreacting"
In other words she takes every sarcastic remark at face value, and as a literal remark by her party members.

don't ask me why, but while writing my story I suddenly got the urge to slap someone with a fish *dramatic pause* so I did.

I just put my characters into a fight scene with a white dragon. Any suggestions on how too make the fight play out, and yes it will be acceptable to have one or more characters break the 4th wall.

Throwing this idea out there:
Step 1: Come up with a general idea of what you want to happen. From this idea, create a skeleton of plot. Write this skeleton down in the form of an outline.
Step 2: Flesh out the plot with writing -- characters, descriptions, etc. Turn the outline into something resembling writing.
Step 3: There will be gaps remaining for various details. Pour tropes into these gaps until they are full. Edit for consistency.
Not that I've ever tried this, or have any experience writing at all. Just had an idea and thought I'd stick it on the forums.
